We are honored once again to be extended the privilege of hosting the 35th annual Carifete celebrations.  Being a milestone year, this year’s celebration holds  special significance for the Montreal Carnival Development Foundation, the city of Montreal, and all carnival enthusiasts.
 
Carnival has long held a special place in the hearts of  Montrealers and the thousands of tourists whom participate in this annual  celebration.  Carifete is a celebration of Caribbean culture, achievements, and their contribution to life in Quebec and Canada.  It offers people young and old, able bodied and disabled an opportunity for the expression of their talents and culture.  It is an event that brings out positive energy and celebration to the streets of Montreal.  It is in this spirit that we host the 35th annual Carifete celebrations.
 
For this we want to extend a warm thank you to the City of Montreal, our sponsors, contributors, and most of all the thousands of carnival goers whom join us every year to sing, dance, and have a good time.
